Information about CESPU and Portugal (application procedures, institution, main features and regulations, how to get to the Campuses, accommodation, food, visa and insurance requirements, student social networks) are available at the institution website and are sent by email to the incoming participants.

Step 1. Application to Erasmus Program at Home Institution

Teachers / Staff who wish to undertake an Erasmus Teaching Assignment / Training period at CESPU must collect information and submit the application to the Erasmus Program at the home university and after contact CESPU Erasmus Office by the email sara.gama@cespu.pt

Step 2. Formalization of the Application to CESPU

The Erasmus Office sends information about CESPU and required documents to formalize the official application to applicant teachers / staff members.

Required Documentation:

  • Application Form;
  • Provisional Teaching Assignment / Training Program;
  • Copies of ID Card, Health European Insurance or Private Insurance Card and VISA (for non-EU persons);
  • Curriculum Vitae;
  • Foreign Language Course Certificate(s), if applicable.

These documents must be sent to CESPU Erasmus Office by email (sara.gama@cespu.pt) and by regular mail to:

The files are forwarded to CESPU host departments for analysis, who give the final opinion on the possibility of their integration at the institution.

CESPU OFFICIAL LANGUAGE

The official language of CESPU is Portuguese, although we have teachers and staff with enough English, French and Spanish language proficiency to follow participants who don't speak Portuguese fluently.

For international teachers and staff who want to come abroad, CESPU recommends proficiency levels of A2 in Portuguese, A2 in Spanish and/or B2 in English.
